ABOUT US

The Impact Foundation LA is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting individuals and families affected by addiction, mental health challenges, and emotional isolation. Based in the foothill community of Los Angeles, our mission is rooted in compassion, connection, and the belief that healing is possible when people are given access to the right support systems.

We serve our community by connecting individuals to life-changing resources through an established network of partners. From treatment referrals and therapy to mentorship and sober living, we offer holistic support designed to help people not only survive — but thrive.

Our work was born from personal loss and a commitment to prevent others from experiencing the same. In 2021, our founder Victoria Da Salla lost her son to an accidental overdose at just 27 years old. His story is a reminder of the urgency and importance of what we do every day.

At The Impact Foundation LA, we walk beside every client on their path to recovery — offering personalized care, consistent guidance, and a renewed sense of hope.

Our Mission

To serve individuals and their families who are struggling with anxiety, depression, isolation, and substance misuse. We achieve this by connecting them with the treatment options, mental health services, and ongoing support needed on their journey toward healing and lasting recovery postivie lifestyle choices.

Our Vision

We envision a healthy, safe, and resilient community free from the devastation of addiction. Through a wraparound approach to care, we address not only substance misuse but also the mental health and social challenges that often accompany it.

By empowering individuals with the tools, resources, and relationships they need to sustain and thrive, we work toward a future where every life is valued and protected.

Our Services

We meet people where they are, and walk with them every step of the way. Our services are customized to each individual's journey and include:

  • We help individuals access trusted rehab facilities that fit their unique recovery needs.

  • We guide and support placement in safe, structured sober living environments.

  • We connect individuals with licensed therapists for emotional and mental well-being.

  • We provide personalized coaching and ongoing guidance to support long-term success.

  • We offer lasting mentorship to encourage growth, accountability, and resilience.

  • We assist families in creating supportive plans and improving communication during recovery.

  • We link individuals to specialized care and community resources for continued support.

Our team builds trust through consistency, empathy, and action — helping every client move toward wellness and stability.

The Stewardship Model

Our approach to mentorship is inspired by the sponsor-sponsee model but reimagined to create deeper, more consistent support. We call this Stewardship.

Each client is paired with a professional Steward — someone who not only supports them during difficult moments, but also takes a proactive role in planning, check-ins, and overall care.

As individuals grow and stabilize, they are encouraged to become stewards themselves — becoming role models and sources of strength for others on similar paths. This creates a cycle of healing, empowerment, and community connection.

Our Values

Compassion – We lead with empathy and honor every person’s journey.

Dignity – We treat all people with respect and humanity, no matter their past.

Accountability – We are committed to transparency, trust, and follow-through.

Empowerment – We help people realize their strength and potential.

Connection – We believe lasting change happens through relationships.
