In Loving Memory of Chace Taylor Malone Yesterday’s Event at CVHS PTSA

Chace Taylor Malone was born on November 18, 1993, in Glendale, California. He was joyful, funny, and known for a smile that lit up every room he entered. Although he carried natural charisma and a heart full of kindness, he silently struggled with anxiety and depression battles that eventually led him toward substance dependency. On January 2, 2021, the world lost a beautiful soul, but his legacy became the beginning of a new mission.

From his story, The Impact Foundation LA was created to honor the extraordinary person Chace was and to help protect others from the struggles he faced. His life now guides a movement built on compassion, awareness, and support.

Impact Foundation LA Programs: Building a Stronger, Healthier Community

Under the leadership of Victoria Marie Malone, Executive Director of The Impact Foundation LA & Program Director of CV Cares, the Foundation continues to expand its programs and deepen its impact across the Crescenta Valley community and beyond. Key programs like CV Cares provide prevention education, mental health awareness, emotional wellness training, and free resources such as Narcan and fentanyl test kits to support families and students.

Highlighting Yesterday’s Event

On November 17, 2025, one day before what would have been Chace’s 32nd birthday, Victoria delivered a heartfelt presentation at the invitation of CVHS PTSA. She shared her personal story, Chace’s legacy, and the Foundation’s programs. The event included a resource table with educational materials, fact sheets, and free safety tools. Clementine also addressed students, parents, and teachers with an inspiring message about hope, awareness, and early support.

Both Clementine and Cami addressed the PTA, while Eva was in attendance supporting the event. Clementine spoke about parent advocacy, emphasizing the importance of connecting with other adults and facing the issues at hand. She urged parents not to turn their heads, but to connect with other parents to support their students. Cami highlighted the need for parents to support their child’s awareness of mental wellbeing issues, stressing the importance of therapy and allowing students the opportunity to utilize it.

Yesterday’s presentation was more than an event; it was a tribute to Chace’s life and a continuation of the Foundation’s mission to protect young people, empower families, and strengthen community awareness.

Achievements and Moving Forward

Over the past year, the Foundation hosted impactful events including the CARES Wellness Fair and the Annual Golf Tournament focusing on men’s mental health, reaching hundreds of students, parents, and community members. These initiatives strengthened outreach, expanded resources, and raised awareness about mental health and substance use prevention.

With ongoing dedication, The Impact Foundation LA continues to honor Chace’s legacy, ensuring that families and young people receive the guidance, support, and hope they need.
