Student Advocacy Club Inspires Community Engagement

Victoria Marie Malone, Executive Director of The Impact Foundation LA, recently met with a group of students who started their own advocacy club, in a gathering that highlighted their leadership, dedication, and passion for supporting their community.

During the meeting, the students shared their plans and ideas, explaining that they have already been holding meetings, planning initiatives, and reaching out to partners. They also presented a clear list of short-term and long-term goals, even displayed on their boards, demonstrating their organization and commitment.

The students, who proudly call themselves the Falcons, aim to be a strong student voice by bringing resources, support, and opportunities to their peers, while advancing programs and initiatives that benefit the community.

Victoria Malone praised the students’ dedication, noting that meeting and engaging with them reinforces the belief in the potential of the next generation. She emphasized that it is the responsibility of adults, organizations, and businesses to provide support, mentorship, and funding for student-led initiatives.

The students also expressed interest in attending some of the foundation’s future activities, opening the door to collaboration and deeper community engagement.

Their energy, drive, and vision reflect a bright future, showing how young voices can create meaningful impact and help build a stronger, empowered community.
